The Global SDG Youth Summit 2024 comes at a pivotal moment in the international effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Following the outcomes of the UN Summit of the Future held in September 2024, world leaders committed to a renewed global partnership through the Pact for the Future. This pact emphasizes the urgent need for multilateral cooperation, youth engagement, and innovative solutions to address pressing global challenges such as climate change, inequality, and social justice.

The Global SDG Youth Summit 2024 is a two-day gathering aimed at empowering youth to drive progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and advocacy, this summit will bring together young leaders, policymakers, and organizations from around the globe to address critical global challenges and catalyze action toward sustainable development. The summit will feature five parallel thematic sessions and an Innovation Exhibition and will culminate in the creation of a ‘Global SDG Youth Summit 2024 Declaration’ to support national and regional advocacy efforts.
